Children can sign up and receive a paper log OR sign up online using READsquared to track their reading. Kids read/are read to five days per calendar week and track their reading. After five days of reading, they can come to the Library with their log to pick out a prize!
Teens can sign up in person or online using READsquared to track their reading. For each week of completed reading (five total days per calendar week), they can enter into a drawing for a $15 local food gift card drawing. Finish a book? Once a week teens can enter a book review for a drawing for a $25 local food gift card as well!
Welcome to our very popular Adult Summer Reading Program!
*Start reading on June 26th and start recording your books read on July 3rd*
*When you read a book, log the title, author and book review on your record under "logging" (this is located on the left side of the page). After you click on "logging" you will see "log activity" and under that click on "log reading". If you just leave a review without going to "logging", you will not receive a badge and therefore it will not trigger an entry.
*You can record up to 5 books per week and each book read equals 1 entry into our weekly raffle (5 books=5 entries)
*What do you win? Each week (starting July 10th) we will randomly pick 5 entries. The 1st name picked receives a $40 PV local business gift card (each week will be a different local business). The 4 other entries picked receive a groovy themed prize!!
*Entries are not held over to the next week, you need to start fresh with new books
*The program runs for 6 weeks. We will call winners each week on the following Monday to come to the library and pick up their prize. Prizes cannot be mailed

*What do you win? Each week (starting July 12th) we will randomly pick 5 entries. The 1st name picked receives a $40 PV local business gift card (each week will be a different local business). The 4 other entries picked receive a fabulous ocean themed prize!!
